    What’s the exercise, Dave?

  • Joe Parisi

Dave can you talk about what Bioflavonoids you take, brand, quantities, and time? Thank you in advance.

I’ve tried many fish oil products over the years. I’ve had my Omega 3/6/9 checked via blood testing. And I had HIGH DHA levels. But I am a huge fan of EPA as well. I feel better with a higher EPA level and a good GLA level.

But outside of fresh fish (then you have to figure out how to cook it so it’s not damaging the oils), or fresh-frozen fish, or high-quality canned fish (like Wild Planet Sardines or Tuna), the only fish oil brand I found to be helpful has been Nordic Naturals. I am NOT affiliated with them, I am not associated with them, but the liquid form of Nordic Naturals has been very, very noticeable for me with inflammation, mood and cognitive function.
Other forms and brands, I haven’t noticed much of anything, personally.

Anyone else have any experiences? Brands?

Luckily I live in a coastal town. So fresh seafood is available. But my favorite is still frozen salmon, thawed and eaten pretty much raw / sashimi style. The freezing of the salmon commercially apparently kills parasites, and I’ve never gotten sick, yet, from eating wild caught salmon. Served over some cauliflower rice? with/without soy sauce or coconut aminos…just not a huge fan of tamari.
I know people are ripping on store bought fish oil (despite the tons of studies showing efficacy), and eating fresh or frozen fish from polluted oceans, wild vs. farmed, it becomes complicated.

At some point, I have to trust how I feel. I actually eat fish OR take fish oil one day (1-3 teaspoons) AND alternate days with Udo’s Oil. Udo is still kicking, I think he’s in his 70’s? I met him back in the 90’s. And people are just now figuring out he was right about omega 6’s and rancidity. He wrote about that two decades ago. He was saying cholesterol was over-rated twenty years ago.
I know people think flax is bad, or estrogenic, or whatever, but I’ve found Udo’s to be beneficial for my skin and energy levels.

So I think it’s important to find out what works best for us as individuals. Based on how we feel, our performance, our function. I personally believe giving away power to other people or science or ‘experts’ or gurus and not trusting our own evolutionary conscious well-developed mechanisms is a huge issue.

What works for me may/may not be ideal for you.
    Good luck.

what is the machine/gadget that improves HbA1c by 8 points?? you never mention the name and would love to know.

    • Pam Neuro-Wize Coach

I’m taking a guess he might be talking about the Zona Plus version 3 in the store.

    • Fresh Potential

I’m guessing it’s the Bulletproof Vibe but not sure.

  • Lisa

NO!!!!! Don’t go on an AD to increase brain cells. It will do the opposite. It causes brain damage.

  • Herman Freysen

Haha, the Warning and Disclaimer in the transcript is funny.

  • Bill Rowcliffe

Everyone asked about the machine you referenced that could improve you HbA1c by a factor of 8. I too would like to know… Bill
