A Grateful Christmas Message from Dave to You
By: Dave Asprey
December 25, 2013
Christmas day is a time for family, friends, and all the people who’ve had a big impact on our lives. Today, I hope you’re not reading this because you are instead sharing the joy of the season with the people who matter the most to you.
I am grateful for your support this year in spreading our vision of a world where people have the energy and focus it takes to be in control of their bodies and minds. When people have this gift, they become better people who treat others well. This is how to upgrade the world, one person at a time, biohacker style.
Bulletproof Executive seeks to be your primary source of reliable and accurate information about the things you can do to feel better, work better, think better, and be better at whatever it is you’re here to do. It is only because of you that our influence has spread globally and this blog has moved from its humble beginnings 3 years ago to rank in the top 6,000 web sites of any type in the US, Australia, Canada, and other countries, and the podcast is #1 ranked on iTunes in the health category.
With your help, we’ve been able to show countless people that there is a better, more satisfying way to eat, to think, and to live. Every day, we get messages from people who have radically upgraded their lives using the simple, and free, techniques on the site.
Every time you read an article here, you are enhancing your own set of knowledge about how to perform better. In turn, you have the power to help others within your circle to upgrade their lives by sharing this precious knowledge. It doesn’t take months, it takes days to feel amazing when you know what to do.
Your continued support of Bulletproof Executive goes beyond this. We actively support groups like the Quantified Self Silicon Valley meetup, nonprofits like the Silicon Valley Health Institute, and some of the coffee research we’re doing this year will rock your world – and some big coffee companies too. On top of that, there are more technologies you’ve never heard of that have huge benefits. I’ll continue to bring those to light for you – and to market when I can’t get them elsewhere.
Together we’re making a big difference. This year, we’ve directly caused national shortages of grass-fed butter. Big industry is paying attention now. When we tell them what we want, and vote with our dollars, they will slowly shift to creating sustainable, safe, healthy foods we will gladly pay for. Shifting the demand of the world is a big task, but we have to do it if we want big companies to stop trying to sell us performance-robbing junk disguised as food.
I’ll keep bringing my full enthusiasm to the blog and the podcast every day in order to offer you the best information I can find. It only works when you’re reading and listening. For all of this, and more, you have my undying gratitude and full support.
In closing, please consider this awesome quote:
“It came without ribbons! It came without tags! It came without packages, boxes or bags!”… Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before! “Maybe Christmas,” he thought, “doesn’t come from a store. Maybe Christmas… perhaps… means a little bit more!”
~Dr. Seuss, How the Grinch Stole Christmas
Thank you, and Merry Christmas.
