Just like regular collagen bars, this recipe is packed with grass-fed Collagen Protein to give you the building blocks for healthy skin, bones and joints, plus energizing Brain Octane MCT oil.

The best thing about these nut-free protein bars is that they’re easy to customize. Once you make your coconut butter base, it’s ready to pair with just about any mix-in under the sun. You can try the suggestions in the recipe below, or get wild and include dark chocolate chunks, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, sea salt or chunks of cacao butter.

Homemade Collagen Protein Bars

Start to Finish: 1 hour 5 minutes (5 minutes active)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut butter
  • 1 Tbsp. Grass-Fed Ghee (or coconut oil for dairy-free option)
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbsp. Brain Octane MCT oil
  • 1/2 cup Collagen Protein
  • 1 Tbsp. non-GMO erythritol, birch xylitol or stevia
  • Optional add-ins: Lemon juice and rind, cacao powder, ginger or turmeric

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, blender or food processor, add all ingredients and gently blend until well-combined.
  2. Taste the mixture, and add more sweetener or vanilla if needed.
  3. Line a small dish or tray with parchment, then add protein bar base. Smooth into one uniform piece to make slicing easier later.
  4. Freeze for one hour, or until firm.
  5. Slice into six bars and serve. Store leftovers in the refrigerator or freezer.
